After the DUKW is restored, ecotours will be available for purchase. There are four different weekly tours: lake, river, lagoon, and ocean with specialty tours occurring seasonally.
The ECODUCK operates out of Brevard County, Florida, United States
The PORT CANAVERAL TOUR (Saltwater) is 24 miles round trip and offers views of Canaveral Lock and Banana River Lagoon. Spotted Eagle Rays, Green Sea Turtles, and Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins frequent this route.
The INDIAN RIVER LAGOON TOUR (Brackish) is seven miles round trip and offers views of West Indian Manatees, Tamanend’s Bottlenosed Dolphins, and Red Knot Birds.
The LAKE POINSETT TOUR (Freshwater) is nine miles round trip and offers views of the marsh and swamp islands. Bald Eagles, Great Blue Herons, and American Alligators are within view of this pristine lake.
The SAINT JOHN’S RIVER TOUR (Freshwater) is nine miles round trip and offers views of the marshes and swamps. Florida Softshell Turtles, Great Egrets, and Bobcats can be seen on the banks.
